Our commitment to quality and accessibility in language services is built on three core pillars: rigorous quality assurance, advanced machine translation integration, and plain language advocacy.
Our quality assurance process employs rigorous standards rooted in industry best practices, featuring extensive revision and quality checks including subject matter expert reviews, the industry-standard DQF-MQM framework for managing translation quality, and partner feedback systems that help us continuously improve, especially for sensitive topics and marginalized languages.
Our Machine Translation strategy integrates MT engines into workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency, particularly for crisis response situations, while combining MT with other tools to ensure consistency and accuracy, though we also offer raw MT for specific use cases like quick sentiment analysis.
We advocate for plain language in humanitarian communications, recognizing that overly complex materials lead to errors and misinterpretations, and we offer plain language services including editing for various documents, coaching sessions, and tailored training programs at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels.
